We are a local family who enjoy introducing visitors to the spectacular North Devon coast through our much-loved cottage in the heart of Mortehoe.
Old Post Cottage is a semi-detached, stone house - one of the oldest in the village - with stylish, comfortable rooms and some charming features. (The main beam across the lounge, for example, was almost certainly "reclaimed" from a wrecked ship many centuries ago.) We hope you will feel as relaxed and at home in Old Post Cottage as we do.
Please note: We don’t allow dogs, sorry. There is space to pull in at the cottage to load and unload, but not to park. (The village car-park, however, is only 50 yards away.)
*Our guests tell us they love the cottage’s proximity to these excellent amenities but note there is potential for some noise in summer when the village can be very busy.
